Monitor your jobs

Track every workflow run from the Jobs list, and open one to see its progress.

Updated 2026-07-23

Every time a workflow runs, Contrata creates a job so you can watch its progress and step in if it needs you. The Jobs list is where you keep an eye on all of them.

Find a job

  1. Go to Jobs from the navigation.
  2. Use the search box to find a job, or narrow the list with the workflow, status, and date range filters.
  3. Each row shows the Job ID, Workflow, Start Date, Duration, Current Action, Status, and Current Stage.
  4. Select a Job ID to open its full details.
TipFilter by status to spot jobs that need you — a Failed job is usually worth checking first. For jobs waiting on a person, check the Action required card on Home.

Inside a job

Opening a job takes you to its Run info (who or what triggered it, when it started, and how long it's taken), a step-by-step Run progress timeline — including steps that run in parallel — and panels for Captured Data and Communication. See Understand job statuses for what each status means, and Review and edit captured data for the data panel.

Common questions

Can I see jobs for a workflow that's been changed since?

Yes. A job keeps its own record of what ran, so you can still review it even if the workflow that created it has since changed.

Why does a job's Current Stage show a dash?

Not every workflow uses stages. If the workflow you're watching doesn't group its steps into stages, this column stays empty.
