Use a template

Add a ready-made workflow from the library and adapt it to your own process.

Updated 2026-07-23

Templates are ready-built workflows for common jobs — approvals, onboarding, reporting, and more — that you can add to your workspace and adjust rather than starting from a blank canvas.

Find a template

Search by outcome, category, or industry, or narrow the library using the Category and Sector fit filters. Each card shows its business outcome and a rough sense of size — how many agents and steps it involves.

Preview before you add it

Select View details to open the template's full workflow diagram, plus its Agents included, Knowledge needed, Connections needed, and Human review points — the moments a person is asked to check or approve something. Select any step in the diagram to see its detail in the side panel.

Add it to your workspace

Select Quick add on a card, or Quick add this workflow from the preview. Contrata copies the template into your workspace as a new workflow in Draft, ready for you to open on the canvas and adjust before you activate it.

TipA template is a starting point, not a fixed process — rename steps, swap agents, or add your own connections once it's in your workspace.

Common questions

Does adding a template affect the original?

No. You get your own independent copy — editing it never changes the template others can still add.

Can I add the same template more than once?

Yes. Each time you add it, you get a fresh Draft workflow, so you can keep more than one variation.
